Education Humanitarian Challenges Workshop

As part of GHAEA’s commitment from the private sector and representatives from several UN agencies came together and address the humanitarian challenges faced in providing education. This 2 day workshop sought to help partners converge onto specific collaboration opportunities related to education and learning in a humanitarian context. The facilitator’s reached a shared understanding of the needs of people using a ‘human centred design’ approach that inform, guided and helped to define potential collaboration opportunities for workshop participants. The explorations centred around existing education problem statements prepared by the UN agencies.

Workshop participants consolidated the most promising concepts that were defined and discovered over the first day of the workshop resulting in four tangible solutions involving multi-stakeholder public-private partnerships.
