GHAEA AT WORK
We are business leaders and problem solvers supporting those most in need
339 MILLION PEOPLE ARE IN NEED OF LIFESAVING MEASURES
.....WE MUST DO SOMETHING
Inspired by the global calls for partnerships to address the Sustainable Development Goals and critical humanitarian challenges facing the world, the Global Humanitarian Action Executive Alliance was established in 2020. The GHAEA has come together to engage its collective expertise, knowledge and resources and to provide guidance on SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals while exploring collaborative models for more effective, principled private sector engagement in emergency preparedness and response. Ultimately, the GHAEA serves as a platform aimed at facilitating multi-stakeholder initiatives, to complement and strengthen existing efforts, initiatives and bilateral relationships and increase communication and awareness in encouraging public-private partnerships.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
GHAEA serves as an advisory group on SDG 17 representing the global perspective of corporate leaders to convey invaluable expertise, knowledge and resources while advocating for a new business model for principled and effective private sector engagement in emergency preparedness and response.
PARTNERSHIPS TO HELP OTHERS
GHAEA also engages with the UN on a global technical level to develop multi-stakeholder transformational partnerships to address the humanitarian challenges of those most in need.
